The inaugural BIP Summit marked the beginning of BIP’s journey, connecting investors from the Kurdistan Region with investment opportunities in the UAE. With an initial focus on the construction and real estate sector, the edition established BIP’s first international relationships and demonstrated the potential of structured cross-border business connections. Held in the UAE in collaboration with DAMAC, the first edition brought together 25 companies, 30 participants and four sponsors, generating an investment lead of approximately $100 million from one project. It established the foundation for what would later develop into the wider BIP ecosystem.
